Spring in Missouri - 2019
Every April for my birthday I take some time with ma' lady to explore the areas around St. Louis. This year started off with a bang as we watched an 80+ year old bridge demolished in Washington, MO. We then ventured on, returning to St. James for a 2nd year in a row to take a relaxing walk around Meramec Spring and enjoy some beers at Public House Brewery. The next day we enjoyed the SLUH campus and the area around Grand and Lindell. The last image is of some beers from Scratch Brewing where we had an amazing afternoon, located in Ava, IL (about 1hr 40min outside the city). It was such an awesome experience that I didn't even bust my camera out, I was one of the most unique experiences I've had to date at a craft brewery. Forged beer made from ingredients on their land is their style, most beers were not even brewed with hops...and they bake their own bread!! These lovely bottles of brew made it home so I could enjoy them at a later date. I will be returning with camera in had in the near future. Cheers!
