05.23.2019 - The Who "Moving On" Tour at Hollywood Casino Amphitheater was such an amazing experience for a multitude of reasons. Most obviously being, it's the Fucking WHO!!! Such an iconic act with a catalog of songs that doesn't compare to others from their time period. They are one of the two remaining acts from the "British Invasion" that hit the American rock scene between 1964 - 1967. This evening they stayed true to the unique quality of The Who by playing with a full orchestra! This made hearing classics from their rock opera Tommy an experience that fully transcended past the original recordings released in 1969. If you were there you realized quickly that even after 50+ years these guys haven't missed a beat!
