7.21.2018 @ Hollywood Casino Amphitheater - 3 Doors Down headlined a bill with special guests Collective Soul and Soul Asylum. I had covered a 3 Doors show years ago, so this evening was all about the other two acts for me. Collective Soul and Soul Asylum came out and delivered sets that reminded me of how truly special the '90's were for music. I heard many photographers commenting, "that's how it's done" after Collective Soul's set and I have to agree. Rock shows need chunky guitar riffs, an enthusiastic frontman, and songs that are just fun for the crowd to sing along to. That is pretty much what '90's acts were all about, and it was a fantastically magical time in music history.
